From Audio Mastering to Pressing,
and Directly to Your Hands

At FOURTH WAVE RECORD FACTORY, our manufacturing process is far more than a simple factory assembly line. It is an uncompromising journey of craftsmanship that transfers the artist’s passion and raw energy into the grooves of vinyl.
The process begins with optimizing your master audio to draw out its maximum potential for vinyl cutting. Assessing sound dynamics and frequency balance, we use a sapphire stylus to engrave delicate grooves into the lacquer disc—a true act of craftsmanship requiring micron-level precision. This is followed by advanced electroplating techniques to craft master and stamper plates with exceptional accuracy, seamlessly leading into high-precision pressing with meticulously controlled temperature and pressure.
What we value above all is that at every single step, top-tier Japanese engineers conduct rigorous quality checks using their own eyes and ears. Rather than relying solely on automated machine data, our seasoned specialists judge subtle musical nuances and texture changes through expert intuition. Finally, each record undergoes thorough manual inspection and careful sleeve packaging. Only vinyl that meets perfection in both sound quality and visual condition is delivered to music lovers around the world.
